OTP and Naseem Medical Centre Host Free Medical Camp in Qatar to Mark India’s 79th Independence Day Doha, Qatar – In celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day, the Orunginaintha Thamizhar Peravai (OTP), in collaboration with Naseem Medical Centre, organized a free medical camp for the Tamil community in Qatar. Orunginaintha Thamizhar Peravai (OTP) is the benevolent associate organization of the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), operating under the aegis of the Embassy of India in Qatar. The forum actively works toward the welfare and unity of the Tamil community. The event was graced by Shri Eish Singhal, First Secretary at the Embassy of India, and attended by key representatives from the ICBF, various Tamil associations across Qatar, and the NRT Indian Association (NRTIA), lending significance and support to the initiative. The medical camp offered complimentary health check-ups, medical consultations, and awareness sessions on available free insurance schemes aimed at supporting the well-being of the Tamil population in Qatar. Combining patriotism with public service, the event highlighted the importance of health awareness and community care, making it a meaningful and impactful celebration of Independence Day. The program was successfully organized and coordinated by OTP Qatar, reflecting their ongoing commitment to community welfare and unity.
